What inspired you to open Freckle?

The idea of opening freckle came after graduating from esthetic school. In 2012 when I opened my doors with less than ten clients, I would have never guessed this little esthetic venture would grow into the successful practice it’s become. I’m still amazed.

What is the story behind the name Freckle?

The word freckle conjures a myriad of images and opinions. It’s primary purpose is to protect the skin against damaging sun rays. Similarly, an esthetician’s job is to help clients protect and preserve the integrity and health of the skin. Whether children or adults, encouraged by heredity or just caused by overexposure to the sun and old age, we love them and hate them. The word just seemed fitting.

4 oz double short americano, please.

Why did you want to become and esthetician?

After receiving years of esthetic education in Europe, I felt like my career easily chose me. I love what I do and feel motivated and inspired by the beauty that lives in esthetics.

Why did you want to become and esthetician?

Living with PCOS since I was a teenager created a lot of insecurities around my oily skin and excessive hair growth. I started in this industry offering Electrolysis because it was a service I needed, and I wanted to help others with issues like mine. Once I got going and was exposed to skincare daily, I quickly became passionate about the science behind skin and how different ingredients effect it. Nothing feels better than seeing my clients smiling and confident once they start seeing the results of what we’re doing.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is probably a good juicy medium rare steak with steamed broccoli or asparagus.

What is your go to coffee/tea order?

When it’s cold I love a nice hot chai or just a basic cup of Shari’s black coffee. Summer time you’ll see me with a fruity Italian soda OFTEN.

What is your favorite Freckle service?

It’s hard to pick just one service, so here’s my top 3:
I love Chemical Peels, Micro-needling, and Tanya’s European Facial.

Why did you want to become and esthetician?

I wanted to become an esthetician because of my own struggle with acne throughout my life, I wanted to be able to help people gain their confidence back and assure them that it does get better with consistency. I also wanted to help them love the skin they're in.

Any Thai meal, 4star

Americano with White Chocolate and Hemp milk

When did you start working at Freckle?

I stared working at Freckle July 19th of 2021. I remember the exact day because it’s the day after my birthday!

Why did you want to be a receptionist at Freckle?

My older sister had two jobs and both were receptionist positions. She told me that I would learn a lot of important skills needed for every workplace environment and I’m here to tell you, it’s true! I have gained so much confidence in areas where I thought I was weak. The day of my interview when I met Misty, I could tell that she had such a positive, caring, hilarious, personality and energy! I knew immediately that I wanted to be apart of the Freckle team.

What is your favorite food?

Pizza! If there was a way that I could eat it every meal every day, I absolutely would. I also love any dessert out there. I’m not kidding, there isn’t a sweet treat that I would turn down!

What is your go to coffee/tea order?

For the warmer weather, I love an Espresso Caramel Milkshake! But when it’s cold, I love a hot White Chocolate Mocha with a shot of Espresso.

What is your favorite Freckle service?

My favorite Freckle service so far is the 55 minute Custom Facial, because no matter what combination of facial care the esthetician uses on you, you know it’s going to be amazing!
